Lanna Thai DIner in Woburn, MA

I love this place. It's in Wouburn on route 38 almost to Wilmington. They have sticky rice and a great eggplant dish. The food is very fresh. Max runs the operation and shops daily for the ingredients. If you want green papaya salad you have to call the day before.

Hallak on Mineral Spring Ave in North Providence, RI

This place has the best stuffed grape leaves. I only tried the vegetarian version. They were so lemony and delicious. Their baba ghanoush was also the most delicious. It was actually light and fluffy. It's on Mineral Spring Ave in North Providence, RI

All Star Sandwich Bar in Cambridge, MA

I had a turkey reuben. It was ok. Soggy, really and huge. Not great for driving. They do have a wide assortment of choices. I'm not terribly enthusiastic for sandwiches, but sometimes you just need lunch.

Ken's Noodle House in Allston, MA

Ken's is inside The Super 88 market, but not in the food court. This is the best ramen EVER. It in no way resembles the 10/$1.00 ramen. I have only ordered Sapporo miso ramen. It's so perfect, I don't want to risk ordering anything else. I ordered ordered iced tea, once. It was Liptons.

G.H. Bent in Milton, MA

This is a very charming place. There is no seating, but a wide range of sandwich choices. Their bread is really good. The ingredients are very fresh. There is a plaque out front describing their historical significance.
